Multi Paints manufactures a range of products, both durable and affordable, to fulfill the needs of the building industry, painting contractors and the general public.

Multi Paints has been in the industry for the past ten years. We started out as a retailer, and then a year later we integrated into manufacturing in Prospecton. We moved to Amanzimtoti 2 years later because of
rapid growth.

After its huge success in this market we decided to go into light and heavy industrial markets, which too, have been hugely successful, and business growth in this sector is enjoyed almost on a monthly basis.

We realized at inception that product innovation and differentiation, to cater for the wide range of customer tastes was key to growth.

We set up our own fully equipped research and development laboratory based at the plant in Amanzimtoti and all technologies employed have been developed in-house.

The new facility enabled better mixing techniques in paint production.

Multi Paints is using a quality system, which will be soon be registered to ISO 9002 standards.

All testing of our paints are done as per the SABS specifications.

Multi Paints is a “AA” BEE accredited supplier at level 3 in the SMME category.

Multi Paints is black female owned.

Multi Paints is also the accredited supplier to the Ethekwini Municipality in its “Upgrade and Renewal Project”. Together with their appointed Project Co-ordinators in different areas, Multi Paints have formed a team to upgrade the m unicipal houses in the Newlands West and Phoenix areas.

This relationship commenced in 2003 and benefits the low income communities of these areas. We supplied the varied types of paints used in these projects as well as application advice and training, including a guarantee.

The product range has grown to over 100 and includes sealers, primers, paints of all grade types from Contractors to Top of the range Gloss finishes, interior and exterior, both water based and enamel types.

Our Specialist products include luxurious washable coatings, a range of textured coatings, anti-fungicidal paints, waterproofing paints, waterproofing sealers, and a choice of over 1200 colours.

Multi Paints we tackle a broad range of techniques from basic mixing and blending to sophisticated reaction chemistry.

We can mix paints of all colours from a small batch to large volume batches and our base system allows for tinting into a multitude of colours.

Thus we can supply colours from any colour range at short notice, without having to keep a huge range of stock.

Multi Paints sales and technical representatives work with clients on a service plan based on volume and process complexity.

The markets served by Multi Paints currently include retail, wholesale to other retail outlets, and direct supply to industry for production application, contractors, toll manufacturing, and supply to large retail chains.
